2020-04-22 (4-4-4) New Moon in Taurus + conjunct Uranus

Summary

We have a New Moon in Taurus that has been written about extensively elsewhere.  Worthy of note is that Sun / Moon are also conjunct Uranus in Taurus, and this likely brings insights (high form), surprises (middle form), or accidents (low form).

This day also contains Ceres Novile Blackmoon Lilith (BML).  Anybody’s guess as to what that could mean, but it means that the grain goddess of prosperity (and supply chains and markets) is conspiring with the wild woman of undomesticated passion to bring us some new ideas.  Do not be surprised if the fashion and cosmetics industries come out with something completely new on this day or in the next few weeks.

Pluto forms a quintile to Chiron, and we have brainstorming about issues of death (Pluto) and healing (Chiron) along with the idea that the radical transformations that those two can bring might lead us (both collectively and individual) into the dawning of a new awareness.  No doubt the numerology of this date (4-4-4) confirms the possibility of such insights.  Mercury’s quintile to the North Node (Rahu, the Head of the Dragon) confirms the possibility of breakthrough ideas.  Mercury also chats with Neptune, so some creatives might have a good day producing the quality of work that speaks to both our hearts and our heads.

2020-04-21 Sun square Saturn; Mars septile Chiron; Moon binoviles x3 Moon in Aries; Sun in Taurus

Summary

Some astrologers are focused on Sun (Taurus) square Saturn (Aquarius), one of two squares the Sun makes to Saturn annually.  For people in the Western Hemisphere, this aspect has passed by the time most people are awake.  Some night owls might feel it.  In general, it was “felt” mostly on Monday, April 20th, lending a serious tone and difficulties to many situations, often demanding “hard work” to solve problems.  EU and UK feel it in the early morning hours, what would typically be “rush hour.”  By noon, it begins to fade for most people.

More interesting, but more subtle, is the septile that Mars forms with Chiron.  We felt a prelude with Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron yesterday.  This aspect is all about karma between Mars (the desire to “do something about it” and often violence) and Chiron (the wounded healer).  This is another obvious aspect: protests are emerging against “shelter in place” orders with demands to restart the economy.  For many, the situation is dire.  But, if the efforts to “reopen the economy” lead to a second wave, we could all be worse off.

Mercury binovile Pallas gives some interesting answers and ideas, possible solutions, and Venus sesquiquadrate Pallas provides another push for action.  Is this wise?  We will only know in hindsight.  But, mark my words, this week is a turning point from which “things” will be either much better or much worse.

Moon adds three binoviles and a quintile to the mix, all to outer planets and three out of four in the morning hours.  Our thinking caps are on, and we might discover some elegant solutions within ourselves.  Keep a notebook or recorder or something similar to capture these fleeting insights.

Most of tomorrow continues with a waning moon until the New Moon perfects past 9 PM CDT, another day of cleanout.

These three days, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday prior to the new moon are excellent for cleanout and maybe finding lost items and clearing the clutter and rubbish from our path for new projects after the New Moon.

2020-04-20 : Moon enters Aries & Conjuncts Chiron; Venus conjunct Hygeia; Juno opposes Black Moon Lilth

2020-04-20 : Moon enters Aries & Conjuncts Chiron; Venus conjunct Hygeia; Juno opposes Black Moon Lilth

April 20th of 2020

Numerologists over the internet are noting this date: 2020-04-20, but we will only note that and not address it further.

Today is Hitler’s Birthday, his 131st birthday.  Taurus produced both Hitler and George Takei.   Regardless of your sun sign, but especially if you are a Taurus, ask this question: which are you?

(“Neither” is an acceptable answer if you beat your own drum.)

Today is also “420 Day.”  We are not an advocate of illegal activity, but do advocate for decriminalization (at a minimum) of the ancient herb and complete legalization for medical use authorized by prescription from a licensed healthcare provide.  If you do partake, please do not drive under the influence.

Summary

This post comes late, most of the aspects in hindsight.  We are “tuning” our processes, and hope to have timely delivery of material.  But, then again, this *IS* the “Irregular Oracle,” so you are hereby notified that not all “forecasts” are timely.  (If we were paid a suitable amount of money, that could change.  But, for now, it is a labor of love and not a “day job.”

  1. Moon enters Aries in the early morning hours and conjuncts Chiron a bit later.  Emotions and “wounded healer” issues bubble to the surface, but that is not a secret with protests regarding social distancing and “stay at home” (or “shelter in place”) orders.  Even more to the point: physicians’ practices that keep many patients out of the hospital are becoming financially illiquid (out of cash; unable to pay employees or buy supplies) and these “wounded healers” are needed to keep the healthcare system from collapsing.
  2. Juno opposes Black Moon Lilith this evening.  To listen to proponents of BML, we would come to believe that all women want to embrace the wild demon woman inside.  That even sounds appealing in some ways.  But the more practical ladies (Juno) are up in arms, angry and complaining that it is not just males that are unhappy with the kind of thing that BML represents.
No one can win in this battle, but the lines are drawn.
In practical terms, BML represents “the other woman,” and Juno represents angry wives, daughters, and sisters who are not about to tolerate “the other woman.”  Don’t be surprised in we have female on female violence tonight, they kind of thing where an angry wife does what we expect an unhappy husband to do: shoot someone.  (Or send “marijuana brownies” that are also laced with white oleander.)
(As an aside, we noticed now that Juno (wife / daughter / sister) forms a favorable aspect with Astraea (law and legal).  Wife / daughter CAN WIN here; she has a lawyer in her pocket (likely a female lawyer, Astraea) who can make things “uncomfortable” for “the other woman.”
  3. Venus joins Hygeia amplifies the Moon conjunct Chiron lessons.  Just in case we missed it, Venus / Hygeia makes certain that we do not.  The word is out on certain issues, and Venus / Hygeia make certain that it is shouted.

2020-04-18 and 2020-04-19 Semisquares; Moon Conjunct Neptune; Sun moves into Taurus; Kite and Square Key continue

Summary

The Piscean Moon dampens the frustrations of the moment reminding us to take time off.  We do feel some urgency regarding certain matters, and tending to them is important, but with the Sun void until it moves into Taurus we may not be able to accomplish all of the things we desire.

The Kite and Square Key continue from yesterday, April 17th.  This means we do have opportunities (Kite) and, paradoxically, should seize certain ones.  Missteps become lessons.  Learn the lesson (Square Key) and do something different next time if that is possible.

Somewhere in here, if it is possible, have a little fun this weekend.

We include maps at the end of this post.

Daypages (Sunout only)

We present Sunout pages (only) for April 18th and April 19th because they cover most of what is important.  The lunar conjunction to Neptune early Sunday morning is covered later.

Interpretations

We have semisquares coming and going over the course of the weekend.  They nudge us into action while the Piscean Moon wants to play.  You have to decide for yourself what course of action is best, likely a carefully chosen balanced mix of the two.

April 18th: Mercury sextile Venus yields pleasant communications.  If this is “date night” for some then late night conversations are pleasant and hopeful.  Enjoy the moment.  Mars trine Hegeia affects all of us, giving us even stronger motives to take care of matters that involve health and healthcare.  Some disputes COULD break out related to this, but most people will work together to “get things done.”  Mercury BiNovile the North Node (and now out of Pisces) gives us an insight on how we might solve a nagging problem, maybe even an important one.

April 19th For others, worker bees up late, Mercury quintile Saturn yields “Aha!” moments about how to do things better.  Latch onto that, but know that you might adjust early next week after Sun has moved into Taurus and out of the “too early to tell” period.  Sun forms a Novile before moving into Taurus, giving us a good idea but it will need a little tuning.  Stick with it, adjust it, and chances are good that you will like the results.

Moon conjunct Neptune

We present the Moon conjunct Neptune chart, NOT a major chart but a milestone along the way this weekend.  We have filtered it for the Kite mentioned in our April 17th post (this past Friday).

Nothing life or death in this chart unless you do something foolish like driving or operating heavy equipment or power tools under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  PLEASE use this window for “down time,” best for sleep and dreams.  You will like yourself better that way, and many of us need the rest.

An opportunity is hidden here, the same one we mentioned Friday about talking things out with someone important to you and solving whatever problems you can together.  But the window is closing.  By early next week, “things” will be different.

2020-04-17 Moon into Pisces; Mercury opposite Juno; Kite; Square Key

2020-04-17 Moon into Pisces; Mercury opposite Juno; Kite; Square Key

Summary

Today is mostly a quiet day for most people with important opportunities that are easily missed.  This forecast is being written during the Moon v/c in Aquarius after Moon perfects a conjunction to Ceres (food and prosperity, and arguably supply chains).  The opportunity involves conversations and short trips revolving about issues of trust.  with Chiron four (4) degrees away from Mercury, some of these conversations may be “painful” but the healing that results can be cathartic.  (India and Pakistan: are you listening to this?  Important conversations about issues of trust!)

Key aspects and patterns for Friday April 17, 2020

  • After a void in Aquarius, Moon moves into Pisces at 1329 CDT (1:29 PM Central Time)
  • Mercury (Aries) opposes Juno (Libra)
  • A kite (opportunity, or possibly opportunities) is present: Juno (Libra) is part of a grand air trine including (a) Vesta at 10 Gemini (along with Venus at 11, Hygeia at 12) and (b) Mars at 12 Aquarius; Mercury opposing Vesta completes the kite
  • A “Square Key” (two interlaced Huber Learning Triangles that share a common quincunx)
  • Sun perfects a square to Pallas Athena (the armored warrior goddess), the third of a series of three square the Sun (Aries) makes to planets (and an asteroid) in Capricorn (Pluto, Jupiter, and Pallas Athena).  Early next week the Sun (in Taurus) will make one of its annual squares to Saturn (now in early Aquarius) to be followed later by squares to Mars and Ceres.
  • Maps: (1) USA Map shows heavy activation in Western Mississippi and region that includes both Memphis and Jackson (to be expected after recent tornadoes and (2) crossings and a descendant line show activation along the India / Pakistan border.  Events at these regions could be “unstable” today.

Forecast

Today is mostly a quiet day for most people with important opportunities that are easily missed.  This forecast is being written during the Moon v/c in Aquarius after Moon perfects a conjunction to Ceres (food and prosperity, and arguably supply chains).  The opportunity involves conversations and short trips revolving about issues of trust.  with Chiron four (4) degrees away from Mercury, some of these conversations may be “painful” but the healing that results can be cathartic.  (India and Pakistan: are you listening to this?  Important conversations about issues of trust!)

The message here is clear: lance the boilClear away the anger and debris now or you will find it far more challenging at some later date, likely during a Mercury retrograde (when Mercury, and others, will force the issue you are avoiding).  Get it done, now, and move forward.

With Venus and Hygeia (health and healthcare) so close, we have further confirmation that this focuses on some kind of healing: emotional for some, physical for others, and both for still yet others.

The Huber Learning Triangles confirm that this is a day about lessons learned.  Clearing the decks now may even “seem” like a bad idea.  But, later, you will find out that  you did the right thing if you took care of business today.

And, this particular configuration of Huber Learning Triangles tells us that lawsuits can emerge from wrong turns today.  Uranus (upsets and surprises) with the South Node (“how we have always done things” and the “done fix it if it ain’t broke” mentality) forms one of the two trines in the Square Key while Astraea (law, legal, and lawsuits) forms the other trine with Chiron, the Wounded Healer.  Best to “fix” things today if at all possible.

Sunout Daypage

We offer the Sunout daypage without explanation beyond the summary in the previous paragraphs EXCEPT to note that Venus is sesquiquadrate Jupiter, amplifying the urgency of clearing away this matter, or matters, today.

2020-04-13 : Mars Novile Neptune; Moon BiSeptile Sun

Summary

Today is relatively quiet, so we avoid a detailed analysis.
However, a single outer planet aspect is worthy of exploration: Mars (in Aquarius) perfects a novile to Neptune (in Pisces for a number of years before and after today).

Mars / Neptune is notorious. Bill Clinton’s birth chart contained a Mars / Neptune aspect. It tends to give the gift of gab, and in a natal chart it can produce a president.
Noviles involve subtle, but typically powerful, insights, so-called “Aha!” moments. These can be breakthroughs. The Mars / Neptune novile perfects at 1352 CDT (1:52 PM Central Time), but it likely influences all of today and maybe the days leading up to today and possibly as far back as all of last week and the rest of this week. As we always recommend for this kind of thing, keep notebooks, recorders, cameras, and sketchpads handy to capture those ideas and insights.

Moon / Sun form a BiSeptile at 1556 CDT (3:56 PM Central Time). This amplifies the effect of the Mars / Neptune Novile, and it is a good time to clean up old messes, clean house (and maybe find lost objects), and take action to finish unfinished business. We think this BiSeptile aspect is good for most of the afternoon and into the evening. Act accordingly.

Moon also forms a BiQuintile with Venus at 2252 CDT (9:52 PM Central Time).  This is useful for “Aha!” moments also in anything that involves art, beauty, harmony, finances, or romance.  Sculptors and poets might especially wish to take advantage of this.

One last comment: both Venus and Pluto will be going retrograde soon.  Chances are good that you are already feeling this, and it will continue to build.

The two of these entering retrograde periods mean that glitches and gotchas and “Aha!” moments (regarding the need for change) will be popping up in areas involving art, beauty, finance, and relationships as well as the oil & gas industry, taxes & inheritances, police, intelligence agencies, and funeral homes and others who deal with the dead and dying.  Some of this seems obvious (from the Covid19 Pandemic), but the issues will BUILD, not decrease, and you need to be planning your safe harbors accordingly.

2020-04-12 : Moon void of course most of the day then enters Capricorn; Mercury squares the Nodes

Summary for April 12, 2020

The key take-away for today is this: much of the day is spent with Moon void-of-course in Sagittarius. Even so, outers (planets, asteroids, “calculated points”) are active and have messages for us. Maybe the most important one is that Mercury squares the nodes, only a few days after leaving Pisces (NOT a good position for transiting Mercury although it can produce poets and musicians in a natal chart).
Mercury squaring the nodes tells us of a shift, a “karmic” shift, and we need pay close attention to the messages that come to us today. In the end, some information may be missing, and projects might need to be redone, but the messages are important nevertheless. Short trips and errands, and the events that happen on them, may also reveal important information to us. Keep your eyes open.

Daypages

Marsout

Early morning hours (@ 0451 CDT), before Moon moves v/c, finds Pallas (and asteroid) trine Sedna (an outer planet object whose status is in question but probably is a dwarf planet). Pallas has an orbital period of 4.62 Earth years while Sedna has one of over 11,000 years. This trine is not particularly rare but also not particularly common, with two trines occurring within each 4.62 year orbit.
Pallas Athena is a warrior goddess, similar to Mars in some ways but reputed in mythology to have sprang fully formed, with armor, from her father’s head. (Zeus, also known as Jupiter, was her father.)
So, what does this mean? Sedna is a sea goddess, and Pallas a warrior goddess. No doubt they do not give up their secrets easily, but we think something important involving shipping and the security of ocean-going vessels will occur today.

Mars biquintiles the North Node shortly after (0657 CDT, 6:57 am) the Moon / Sun trine, and the beginning of the void. What does that mean? We are not certain, but we think that, for certain people, a break-through idea might present itself regarding an important problem. Action is necessary, keeping in mind that it might have to be re-done or tuned later. Proceeding carefully, take action despite the void.
Pallas trines Hygeia, (11:05 am CDT) and issues of healthcare and trust come to the forefront. My guess is that this might involve protective gear (aka “PPE”) and healthcare providers needing to be able to trust the supply chains and non-clinical managers who should be providing the protective gear.
Uranus undeciile Vesta brings a subtle upset to certain traditionalists who MIGHT can learn a lesson from the event, IF they are paying attention.
AFTER the Moon moves into Captricon, Vesta sextiles Black Moon Lillith. Per Darkstar Astrology, the “Dark Goddess archetype as a whole is associated with sex, death, obsession, addiction, transformation, resurrection, magic, the occult and the taboo.” While Vesta is primarily concerned with traditions, it also represents prostitution (or sexual favors or ?). With these two in sextile, all bets are off, but be certain that this is another hot night for “romance” for certain people.

Sunout

This day has a number of undecile family aspects in it; we will not interpret those. Other aspects were previously discussed in Marsout leaving: (1) Mercury square the Nodes and (2) Sun semisquare Vesta.

We mentioned Mercury square the Nodes previously, and it is likely the most important aspect of the day, the “mover” that activates all the other aspects.
Sun semisquare Vesta implies that certain attributes of the Lilith / Vesta sextile might have a coercive quality to it, or, at best, a sense of urgency, as in “quick, they’ll be back soon!” Alternatively, the kids might wake up at a rather inconvenient time.

Moonout + SunMoon

These are complicated and numerous; we will leave the interpretation for another. The Sun / Moon trine is a pleasant way to start the void.

2020-04-11 :

Some days are “quiet” if astrologers only use seven, or maybe ten, “planets” and traditional “ptolemaic” aspects.  These are days when that approach leaves astrologers in a position to “fudge.”

We avoid this problem, most of the time, by including some rather exotic aspects that occur with some equally exotic “planets” (many of which are not “planets” at all but asteroids or other objects or “calculated points” such as Selena (White Moon) and “Black Moon Lillith.”

That said, here is the Marsout daypage for April 11th:

Our interpretations of this day:

  • Mars biseptiles Selena at 0206 AM (CDT), which is past as we write this, and at 1939 CDT (7:39 PM) sextiles Black Moon Lillith.  What does this mean?  It means that, with Selena, we are called to action to reach for our highest good and highest accomplishment.  But, by Saturday night, we become focused on our more lustful side, particularly as it regards sex.  Frankly, for many of us, it is a GREAT night for, um, “romance.”
  • Saturn opposes Astraea: this is a “big picture” aspect.  Both of them are in their respective “too early to tell” positions, but they indicate a fight between authority sources (non-legal authority, particularly the financial sector versus legal authority, such as attorneys and the court system).  It is an ugly fight, and in many cases nobody can “win.”  Avoid such fights (perfects at 1317 CDT, 1:17 PM) if you can, unless it is your job.  If it is your job to be a lawyer or some other combatant, keep in mind that you might not get what you truly desire on this date, and whatever you do get will need to be revisited again, possibly at the next Mercury Retrograde.
  • Juno sesquiquadrates Ceres at 2203 CDT (10:03 PM) and some couples or households have a bit of a squabble out food, money, or other resources.  You will have to decide for yourself whether or not you want to spend your time and money on this squabble.
  • Chiron noviles Ceres at 2321 CDT (11:21 PM), and some of us have a flash of insight as to how to solve the aforementioned Juno / Ceres issue.  Pay attention to the ideas that pop into your head, and consider writing them down.

2020-04-07 : Full Moon in Most of North America (9:34 PM CDT);

These aspects have been discussed elsewhere. We will provide only a minimal analysis at this time, but may reference this date and these aspects in future posts (such as in a more detailed analysis of the upcoming Full Moon). In this post, we specifically offer the DayPages: Marsout, Sunout, Moonout, and SunMoon, in that order.

  • Pluto Sesquiquadrate Hygeia: Multiple interpretations but the obvious one is “death” canuses “health and healthcare” to panic (it’s obvious, right?); Also: police and military INTERFERE with what healthcare providers are trying to do, making the situation worse.
  • Mars Square Uranus: one of the ultimate aspects to make “things go boom.”  Accidents are more likely and tempers flare.  Avoid dangerous people, places and things if you can.  This aspect makes even “normal” people into “lunatics” on this full moon!
  • Astraea enters Leo:  issues of justice, law, and legal matters affects managers of all kinds from basic managers of retail shops all the way up to the President.
  • Pluto semisextiles Ceres, giving us some relief, finally, in our supply chains.  No doubt about it, police & military are part of supply chains at this time.
  • Mercury sextile Pluto: comparatively friendly conversations over “deep” and “important” topics, especially regarding mortality, happen at this time.
  • Although Pluto and Hygeia are in conflict, the Sun supports Hygeia in a “karmic” fashion: learning lessons and adjusting accordingly. (Sun septile Hygeia)
This could be good Samaritans in the public helping in healthcare settings.

2020-04-06 : Mars Semisquare Neptune; Mercury QuadriNovile Juno; Moon Trine Jupiter; Moon Opposite Mercury

These aspects have been discussed elsewhere. We will not provide an analysis at this time, but may reference this date and these aspects in future posts (such as an analysis of the upcoming Full Moon). 2020-04-05 SUN: Mars BiNovile Eris; Hygeia SSQ Selena; Venus Quintile Neptune; Moon BiQuintile Sun

These aspects have been discussed elsewhere. We will not provide an analysis at this time, but may reference this date and these aspects in future posts (such as an analysis of the upcoming Full Moon). In this post, we specifically offer the DayPages: Marsout, Sunout, Moonout, and SunMoon, in that order.
