2020-04-29 : Moon in Cancer moves void then into Leo; Sun biseptile Jupiter; Higher order Mercury aspects

2020-04-29 : Moon in Cancer moves void then into Leo; Sun biseptile Jupiter; Higher order Mercury aspects

Today is effectively two days compacted into one, and arguable three.  Before 2:27 PM CDT, Moon is in Cancer and has a number of statements to make.  Moon in Cancer is the strongest possible position for the Moon, so we need to pay attention.  Chances are good that we will have some kind of shift involving the petroleum industry.

But after the void, things go sideways.  Some prosper and some do not.

Moon enters Leo, and stays in “too early to tell” (as the horary practitioners call the early degrees of a sign) through the end of the day (midnight).

Mercury (Helio) forms seven (7) aspects.  Five are in the novile and undecile family (moments of brief but intense insight), one is a quintile to Hygeia (indicating a possible breakthrough in healthcare), and one is a square to Jupiter.  What does a heliocentric square to Jupiter by Mercury mean?  We are not certain, but we will interpret it thus: a conflict exists between transportation / communications (on one hand) and the more expansive uses of governmental power, including universities (and “experts”), law and the legal system, and international affairs (especially international travel).  The mercurial side wants to “get things done” while the Jupiter side wants “higher order thought” in play.  Both are right and both are wrong today.  In the U.S., this likely manifests with the ongoing conflicts of whether or not to “re-open” the U.S. as well as questions as to whether or not that will lead to a second wave.”

In this article, J Buss indicates that the septile (family) is the most important aspect (family of aspects).  While I have heard it described elsewhere as powerful insights related to “karma,” J Buss argues that it is about timing.  The two viewpoints can co-exist.  Arguably, they should co-exist.

Here is an excerpt of the article from J Buss:

I simplify interpretation of the Septile as Timing. Think about that Prophesy that you’d meet your Soulmate in the Produce Department. Unless your Soulmate works there, your Chances of meeting them are pretty slim if you don’t also know What Time You Need to Be There! Of course it’d be Intuitive, but the “Left” Brain will understand what we mean.

Obscure humor about produce aside, today has Sun biseptile Jupiter.  We think this could be a subtle, but important, turning point in terms of “timing” (particularly as it applies to the Covid19 pandemic).  This is especially true given the many high order Mercury (helio) transits.

Pallas enters Aquarius, and important actions will soon be taken regarding ourselves as a collective.  Chiron trine Astraea offers some important solutions involving both healthcare and law & legal.

2020-04-28 : Expect disruptions to legal systems & supply chains; take care of detailed paperwork such as filing taxes

Expect disruptions to legal systems & Supply chains; take care of detailed paperwork such as filing taxes

  • Legal upsets continue as Uranus squares Astraea (felt as far back as last week) at 1:52 PM (1352 CDT); Helio Venus squares Jupiter, a confirmation of this turmoil in legal areas and legal systems (courts) but (Tropical, Geocentric) Moon quadrinoviles Jupiter at 1:22 AM (0122 CDT) to provide some “Aha!” moments on how to solve these problems *IF* people pay attention to these fleeting ideas; a key point: the insight comes first, telling us to “get ahead of the problem”; plan (and act) accordingly
  • Vesta sesquiquadrate Pallas brings a sense of urgency to put new ideas (Pallas) into practice regarding old traditions (and Tara Greene says that Vesta governs investments as well, obviously along with Venus)
  • Astraea (law and legal) perfects a biseptile to Eris (discord & chaos) at 2:45 PM (1445 CDT) bringing important lessons (karmic lessons) on how to handle similar sources of chaos in legal areas in the future
  • Mars semisextile Neptune at 3:48 PM (1548 CDT); watch out for those all to slick “traveling salesmen” types; if it sounds too good to be true, it is
  • Mercury square Saturn at 12:27 PM (1227 CDT) gives many of us the focus to take care of certain detailed matters.  For many people, this is a GREAT time to do your taxes or take care of detailed accounting issues; Mercury squares Pallas at 1:53 AM (0153 CDT) and that gives us the ideas and insights that we do need to take care of these matters (and maybe some smart ideas regarding how to make this happen); as an aside: DO NOT wait until the next Mercury retrograde to get on top of this; you will feel the pain if you do
  • Helio: Mars trines Uranus at 4:30 AM (0430 CDT) giving some people the insights and ability to take action to solve certain problems (probably involving finance or supply chains)
  • Mercury semisextile Ceres at 6:54 AM (0654 CDT) brings relief to certain supply chain issues

2020-04-23 : Ceres into Pisces; Mars BiNovile Uranus; Neptune Sesquiquadrate Astraea

2020-04-23 : Ceres into Pisces; Mars BiNovile Uranus; Neptune Sesquiquadrate Astraea

Today is full of glitches, but it also has opportunities to solve problems.  Do that today.  Tomorrow, Mars sesquiquadrates the North Node (Rahu, the Dragon’s Head) and all Hell breaks loose for some, maybe many, of us.  And Saturday, Pluto stations retrograde, making things worse.

Fix everything you can today; tomorrow might be too late.

[Click image to enlarge; opens in new tab]

Outers are the most interesting part of the day although the entire day is active.  Ceres enters Pisces.  This is a mixed bag.  The “Grain Goddess” (that likely governs supply chains and markets in the modern world) has moved into Pisces, possibly good for healing issues but also introducing confusion into our supply chains and marketplaces.  (Given the events of the Pandemic so far, it “feels” like she has been there for a month.)  Bottom line: expect more weirdness in these areas.  (Along with humorous songs and videos and photographs)

Criminality (especially involving theft by misdirection) may become a problem at this time.  (“That truck was supposed to be sent to Las Vegas,” but it was routed elsewhere and “disappeared.”  If it is ever found, the missing food or pharmaceuticals are long gone.)

Mars binoviles Uranus, giving some of us smart ideas about how to take action more effectively. As is true with all Mars / Uranus aspects, a “low side” exists and it almost always involves “accidents” (and failure to plan).  Even there, the possibility of ingenious ideas emerges.

Neptune sesquiquadrate Astraea introduces confusion into legal settings and legal issues.  Those working in these areas should expect smokescreens, attempted cover-ups, and misdirection.  Others will be at risk of having their misdeeds (finally!) uncovered.  These are all low to mid forms.  The high forms will have legal documents that, oddly, read like poetry and even actual poetry or art about the legal system.  GREAT times for television shows about the law and law firms (but not necessarily so much for procedural crime dramas that focus on the police to the exclusion of the attorneys).

We leave the other aspects uninterpreted as an “exercise” for those wishing to dive into them.

[Click image to enlarge; opens in new tab]

Sunout aspects, the kind most astrologers read, show Mercury activity dominating the day, meaning that issues of transportation and communication become important.  (How this fits with the confusion of Ceres in Pisces remains an open question.)

The four Mercury aspects are these:

  • Mercury BiNovile Saturn (a smart solution to properly processing details)
  • Mercury BiSeptile Astraea (legal issues and solutions to them)
  • Mercury Septile Vesta (how we have always done things)
  • Mercury Septile Ceres (those supply chain questions, again)

This is yet another day where the battle cries of “but we have always done it this way” and “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” are simply NOT the right answer.  Places where the system is broken leap out like a walrus covered in Hunter’s Orange.  Holes in the system practically glow incandescent.

Do not be stupid: fix it!

And, just because you develop a smart solution to processing details does not mean that you can completely ignore them.  That is also folly.  Followup checks and tests are needed today.  We cannot afford to have milk or produce or other food destroyed simply because our supply chains are not equipped to handle the problems.  (And this applies to other matters as well.)

Time to fix it, make certain it is fixed, and move forward.

Tomorrow, “things” become different.

The core issues of the day have been covered.  The moon forms biseptile aspects to Jupiter and Pluto, further emphasizing the “karmic” and “lessons learned” aspects of the day along with the possibility of breakthrough ideas.

Moon also forms a novile aspect to Venus and binovile aspect to Mars, again emphasizing windows of insight that can become windows of opportunity for those inclined to see those.  As we always say with regard to this: keep a notepad handy.  Today’s Martian emphasis might mean that you need to seize the moment and take action, also, when the window presents itself.

Sun and Moon both remain in Taurus though the New Moon perfected late yesterday.  While this tends to bode well for art, love, harmony, and finances, some people may not be willing to budge from their positions.  This does not bode well for problems in the system that the “we have always done it that way” crowd do not wish to recognize.

Time Map

2020-04-23 Time Map

2020-04-18 and 2020-04-19 Semisquares; Moon Conjunct Neptune; Sun moves into Taurus; Kite and Square Key continue

2020-04-18 and 2020-04-19 Semisquares; Moon Conjunct Neptune; Sun moves into Taurus; Kite and Square Key continue

The Piscean Moon dampens the frustrations of the moment reminding us to take time off.  We do feel some urgency regarding certain matters, and tending to them is important, but with the Sun void until it moves into Taurus we may not be able to accomplish all of the things we desire.

The Kite and Square Key continue from yesterday, April 17th.  This means we do have opportunities (Kite) and, paradoxically, should seize certain ones.  Missteps become lessons.  Learn the lesson (Square Key) and do something different next time if that is possible.

Somewhere in here, if it is possible, have a little fun this weekend.

We include maps at the end of this post.

Daypages (Sunout only)

We present Sunout pages (only) for April 18th and April 19th because they cover most of what is important.  The lunar conjunction to Neptune early Sunday morning is covered later.

We have semisquares coming and going over the course of the weekend.  They nudge us into action while the Piscean Moon wants to play.  You have to decide for yourself what course of action is best, likely a carefully chosen balanced mix of the two.

April 18th: Mercury sextile Venus yields pleasant communications.  If this is “date night” for some then late night conversations are pleasant and hopeful.  Enjoy the moment.  Mars trine Hegeia affects all of us, giving us even stronger motives to take care of matters that involve health and healthcare.  Some disputes COULD break out related to this, but most people will work together to “get things done.”  Mercury BiNovile the North Node (and now out of Pisces) gives us an insight on how we might solve a nagging problem, maybe even an important one.

April 19th For others, worker bees up late, Mercury quintile Saturn yields “Aha!” moments about how to do things better.  Latch onto that, but know that you might adjust early next week after Sun has moved into Taurus and out of the “too early to tell” period.  Sun forms a Novile before moving into Taurus, giving us a good idea but it will need a little tuning.  Stick with it, adjust it, and chances are good that you will like the results.

Moon conjunct Neptune

We present the Moon conjunct Neptune chart, NOT a major chart but a milestone along the way this weekend.  We have filtered it for the Kite mentioned in our April 17th post (this past Friday).

Nothing life or death in this chart unless you do something foolish like driving or operating heavy equipment or power tools under the influence of alcohol or drugs.  PLEASE use this window for “down time,” best for sleep and dreams.  You will like yourself better that way, and many of us need the rest.

An opportunity is hidden here, the same one we mentioned Friday about talking things out with someone important to you and solving whatever problems you can together.  But the window is closing.  By early next week, “things” will be different.

2020-04-05 SUN: Mars BiNovile Eris; Hygeia SSQ Selena; Venus Quintile Neptune; Moon BiQuintile Sun

These aspects have been discussed elsewhere. We will not provide an analysis at this time, but may reference this date and these aspects in future posts (such as an analysis of the upcoming Full Moon). In this post, we specifically offer the DayPages: Marsout, Sunout, Moonout, and SunMoon, in that order.

2020-04-01 WED Selena opposite Eris + Chiron Septile Sedna

First , the good news: the alignment of the planets tells us that the Ascension so many people have been waiting for is here, and we will have no more troubles of any kind, evermore.

Yep, it is:

April 1st, 2020

Wednesday is another day with challenges. I know some of you are wondering if we ever have days that have no challenges. Technically, the answer is no. We all have challenges.

But Thursday morning and Friday morning both look good for times to seize opportunities.

Wednesday is, how shall we say it, “different.”

Wednesday is a day in which we have a choice: focus on our highest calling and integrating diverse resources into something new or opt for discord and disruption. Which will you choose?

Sun quintile Saturn and Mercury (in Pisces, a poor position for Mercury) quintiles Venus (in her home, Taurus (strong!)). We have the ideas! We know what to do, and we can create smarter and better solutions.

Mercury semisquare both Mars and Saturn tells us we need to do it, we need to followup.

Marsout Daypage

We see two aspects in the Marsout daypage for April 1st, 2020: (1) White Moon Selena opposes Eris and (2) Chiron septiles Sedna. None of this is ordinary or straight forward in the way the a full moon or new moon can be clear and easy to interpret.

2020-04-01 Marsout Daypage

Selena opposite Eris

Selena has been described as part of the “Lilith corridor” along with Algol: “The fixed star Algol in the head of Medusa in the constellation Perseus is also thought of as part of this vast ‘Lilith corridor.’” Selena is not a “planet” or other object but, instead, is a calculated point. Most astrologers do NOT use Selena but a school of Russian astrology, the “Avestan school,” does use it.

Selena has been described by some thus: “White Moon or the Light Moon encompasses the (obscured) noble and pure nature within us.

Today, White Moon Selena opposes Eris. Eris has been described as “Eris is the Greek goddess of strife and discord.

We have a fundamental battle of good and evil here today. Selena seeks to integrate, to harmonize, and opposite her is Eris, a purveyor of discord and strife. Florence Nightingale (as the archetype of nursing) is taking on one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Plan accordingly.

Also active today, Chiron perfects a septile to Sedna. Chiron is the noble, peaceful Centaur who became the “wounded healer,” a teacher and healer who could heal all except himself.

As the sea goddess, Sedna has dominion over her creatures and controls the availability of seal, walrus, fish, whale, and other sea animals to Inuit hunters.

Does the wounded healer need to reach out to the sea goddess Sedna for help? How is his karma; has he learned his lessons. Will a cure for Covid19 come from the sea, possibly discovered by Japanese researchers?

Sunout Daypage

Sun quintile Saturn and Mercury (in Pisces, a poor position for Mercury) quintiles Venus (in her home, Taurus (strong!)). We have the ideas! We know what to do, and we can create smarter and better solutions. Mercury semisquare both Mars and Saturn tells us we need to do it, we need to followup.

Mercury septiles Jupiter and Pluto: we may need to reach out to others with a plan that comes from an “Aha!” moment to get done what needs to be done.

2020-04-01 Sunout Daypage

Moon perfects quadrinoviles to Mars and Saturn in the afternoon (North America) or evening (UK / EU). We can have BRILLIANT solutions, but they will a bit different, and we can fail to realize their importance. Again, the aforementioned semisquares are in play, so harness that energy for accomplishment.

May 11, 2017 (Julian 131) Void Moon in Scorpio enters Sadge + Mars Square Neptune + Mercury trine Saturn

May 11, 2017 (Julian 131) Void Moon in Scorpio enters Sadge + Mars Square Neptune + Mercury trine Saturn

Void since perfection of the Full Moon yesterday, Moon continues void this morning in Scorpio until it enters Sagittarius at almost exactly Noon CDT.  Moon quincunx Uranus (Aries) then Mercury (Aries) near sunrise (CDT) leads to mistakes and miscalculations just in time for rush hour.  Be extra careful, and make absolutely certain that you do not follow too closely.  A lunar trine to Chiron about 7:30 AM CDT brings issues of healthcare, education, mentors or some mix all to the surface.  Recognize them but do not take action until at least the void is over and preferably on another day.

Why avoid action today?  Mars squares Neptune, and nothing is as it seems.  Snake oil salesmen and con-artists prosper, and unless you are one of those, chances are good you will not.  Mercury trines Saturn which leads people to check every detail, dot every “i,” and cross every “t.”  Even the snake oil salesmen may not do so well.  Maybe we should say “salesperson” because chances are the person likely to blindside you will not meet with your expectations.

Any upsides for today?  Plenty.  First, creatives continue to prosper.  This day tends to favor photographers, videographers, and other visual artists more than yesterday.  Work done this morning may require re-dos but should be done anyway.  Often the genius of a work is found in a re-do or edit.  Today is that kind of day.

Exactly the same advice applies to anyone who examines details for a living.  But if you are proofreading in the morning, make certain you give it a second look in the afternoon or evening.  Something will leap out at that time that makes a difference, maybe a pivotal change.

Moon is waning, so removal of the unnecessary leads to prosperity.  Sun is in Taurus, so sculptors prosper.  Just do not work in stone or marble this morning; model it in clay in the morning then do the final work in stone later today.

April 24, 2017 (Julian 114)

April 24, 2017 (Julian 114)

Today has a clear cut message: pay attention to details.  Retrograde Mercury tells us that as it trines Retrograde Saturn.  Despite the fact that Saturn is a malefic, this is a favorable aspect most of the time for most people IF you are willing to heed the message and do the work.  Both are in fire signs, so fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) are affected most followed by air signs (Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini).  For some people, they will find lost ojects, and this will be an important turn of events.  Everybody, regardless of sign, can benefit by “taking care of business” today.

Outers are relatively quiet again, with   Saturn quincunx Vesta is the loudest voice of the group, and that signals a conflict or misunderstanding between one side that is related to religion, higher education, or law and the other side which is focused on family traditions.  Neither side can “win” here, so walk away from any disputes of the sort.
